Our Services
• Classical Wet Assay Analyses
A highly precise and accurate analysis for determination of mineral concentrates and metallurgical samples, methods consist of sample digestions, chemical separation and follow by gravimetric or titrametric finish.
• Fire Assay Analyses
A total determination of gold and other precious metals in rock samples by high temperature fusion with chemical flux, removal of slag material, extracted to a dore bead by cupellation then analyzed by either gravimetric, AAS or ICP finish.
• Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) Analyses / AAS
Inductively Coupled Plasma - An instrument capable of determining the concentrations of 30 or more elements in solution simultaneously, by measuring the intensity of light given off by sample solution while aspirated into an argon gas plasma flame at extremely high temperature.
• Geochemical & Mineral Analyses
An economical and accurate analysis for determination of rock or soil samples with low to moderate mineral concentration, method consist of sample digestion, follow by AAS, ICP or specific ion electrode method.
• Environmental & Water Analyses
A precise and accurate instrumentation analysis for determination of water and solid samples with very low mineral concentration, all instruments used in this section are highly accurate and standardized regularly. Our instrumentation includes: IC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Turbidmeter, LECO Sulphur/Carbon Analyser, pH Meter, Ion Selective Electrodes, DO Meter and Conductivity Meter, etc. enable a wide scope of environmental analyses include Cyanides, TKN, BOD and COD.
Specialized assays and packages
• Diagnostic Leaching Test for the characterization of gold ores
Certain gold ores are refractory to conventional cyanidations, this procedure is developed to distinguish the different variety of gold associations, which include free (Cyanide soluble) gold; Carbonaceous Gold; Sulfide gold; Silicate gold and total gold content.
• Sulfur and Carbon Group Assays
Four different species of sulfur and carbon elements can be assay separately or as a group. Sulfur group includes-total sulfur; elemental sulfur; sulfide sulfur and sulfate sulfur. Carbon group includes-total carbon; graphite carbon; organic carbon and inorganic carbon. This is a very useful analysis for metallurgical studies of ore samples.
• Acid Rock Drainage (ARD) Test
This test has been designed to measure the balance between potentially acid-generating minerals (maximum potential acidity) and acid-neutralizing minerals (neutralization potential) in a sample. This procedure, known as acid-base accounting (ABA), yields a figure known as net neutralization potential which determines whether a particular ore sample will theoretically generate acidity over time.
